AquaPixels' founder and owner is Jo-Ann Wilkins, a Canadian underwater photographer, writer and dive instructor based in Montreal. Passionate about cold water diving, she photographs and writes about the historical shipwrecks of the Canadian Great Lakes and St-Lawrence River. She has organized and led numerous diving expeditions to Alaska and British Columbia, and operated the commercial dive charter operation Scubamax on the St-Lawrence River for over a decade.

Her work has been featured in Canadian and American publications such as Scuba Diving Magazine, Sport Diver Magazine, Diver Magazine, En profondeur, Red Bull, Underwater Photography Guide and has been recognized in international photography competitions. She is the underwater photographer of the Toronto swim school Waterbabies and is one of the artists featured in the innovative and unique Canadian underwater exhibit Aquart. Jo-Ann is a member of the Sedna Epic Expedition and is a PADI Ambassadiver.
